Who we are

Kcimory (the "c" is silent) is a New Zealand business specialising in the design of unique furniture, homewares and art prints. All of their timber pieces are handmade and carefully crafted from either recycled wood, such as Rimu, Matai, Kauri, American Oak and more or made from sustainable solid Pine.
Kcimory follows a "No Waste" philosophy, especially when it comes to the use of recycled wood. Their designs are structured around making the most of the wood and minimising waste. They also work hard to ensure their designs high-light the natural features of the wood as well as the tell-tale signs of a past life like old nail holes, this gives each one of their recycled pieces character and uniqueness. If you buy a Kcimory piece be sure to ask them what the timber's past function was, you'll be suprised.
Their art prints are distinctive and can be customised or individualised in some way to make them that little more special for buyers. Custom work is also a part of their business that keeps them on their toes.
Kcimory Designs is run by husband and wife team Kim and Cory Bramwell. Both Kim and Cory have a great deal of renovation and restoration experience which combines well with their love for design and build.
Cory is also a qualified IT engineer and Kim spent many years in a shipping environment before embarking on her passion for design and woodworking. They find balance in the day-to-day running of their household, which includes an active toddler, two dogs and two cats.
